Twilight is a 24" x 36" oil painting by artist Rebecca Robb.
One of my favorite things about “Twilight” is the multiple layers painted within this long portrait seascape. Every layer is different from the next, altering in texture and color, adding perspective and depth to the painting. There are hazy distance layers contrasting with sharp textural layers. This original oil painting has sunset colors intertwined with the blue sky and sea without looking too much like a sunset painting. Warm glow refracts from below the horizon onto the surface of the water giving it its name for that special time of day - twilight.
